Welcome to LinkGraph's privacy policy. This policy describes how we handle information in our application. LinkGraph: Visual Bookmarks is designed with your privacy as our top priority. We believe that your knowledge network should belong to you and only you.

Information We Do NOT Collect

LinkGraph is built with privacy-first principles. It's important you understand that:

  • We do NOT collect any personal information
  • We do NOT require account creation or registration
  • We do NOT store data on external servers
  • We do NOT track your usage or behavior
  • We do NOT use analytics or third-party services
  • We do NOT have access to your bookmarks or connections
  • All your data (bookmarks, tags, connections, descriptions) is stored exclusively on your device

Local Data Storage

Regarding how your data is stored:

  • All bookmarks and knowledge nodes you create are stored only on your iOS device
  • Data is stored using Hive database with encryption in iOS's secure app sandbox
  • We do NOT perform automatic cloud backups
  • We do NOT share your data with any third parties
  • All data is permanently deleted when you uninstall the application
  • There is NO way to recover data after uninstallation since we don't have servers

App Permissions

LinkGraph only requests the minimum necessary permissions to function:

  • Internet Access: Only used to open URLs in your browser when you tap the 'open link' button on a bookmark
  • Local Storage: To save your bookmarks, tags, and connections on your device
  • No access to: Camera, Location, Contacts, Photos, Microphone, or any other sensitive device features

Data Security

Since we don't collect user data, there are no risks of personal information leaks. The bookmarks and knowledge network you create remain exclusively on your device, protected by iOS's security measures. Your data is encrypted using Hive's secure storage format within the iOS sandbox environment.

Third-Party Services

LinkGraph does NOT integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. The app is completely standalone and operates entirely offline (except when you choose to open a URL in your browser).

Children's Privacy

LinkGraph does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for users of all ages since all data remains local on the device.

Your Rights and Data Control

You have complete control over your data:

  • All data belongs to you and never leaves your device
  • You can delete individual bookmarks at any time through the app interface
  • You can delete all data by uninstalling the application
  • Future versions will include export functionality for manual backups (coming soon)

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy at any time. We recommend checking this page periodically to stay informed of any changes. Since we don't collect contact information, we cannot notify you directly of policy updates. The 'Last Updated' date at the top of this policy indicates when the last changes were made.
